I wish this was about someone having sex in the Holiday Inn elevator...but no, it isn't. But rather, about 18 of us just now getting stuck in an elevator at the Holiday Inn for around an hour before the fire dept finally getting us out.
They had to open the ceiling and put a ladder down for us. It was very 007.
Speaking of, Chase was in there with me and nobody was so amused as we were about us doing the 007 theme song in reference to escaping through a ceiling hatch.
I met JayInsult while in there!
Six of the Suburban Home/Vinyl Collective crew were in there. Virgil was enjoying the experience like me.
My Fest crush just happened to be in there too. Nothing like exchanging glances and dripping with sweat while being pressed by awkward standing bodies on every side..haha
AND Var was in there too. Var, are we really having a "survivors of the Fest 7 elevator lock in" dinner at Chopstix?
I documented the whole thing of course and will post photos as soon as I get home.
Don't know who some of those people were. Were you in there too???

That's actually kind of awesome. I wish I had some cool Fest story like that. But I don't really.

I have video of a different stuck-elevator event.
I was happily waiting for an elevator when suddenly I hear a crash and a bunch of 'WOOAAAAAHHH's. Then laughter ensued. I'll post that vid up as soon as I get it off my phone.

Kinda similar thing.
We were trying to quickly get the hell out of there because the 7 of us snuck into Holiday Inn for the show going on in a room when security came down the hall and everyone scattered. We got in the elevator but it kept picking more people up instead of going to lobby. Some were shhhhing about it dying on us, then others were joking about jumping up and down to cause it to.
Next thing you know there are 18 of us in it and it free falls and makes this CRUNNNNNCH noise. The door opened to a wall of cement/metal. We all laughed. There was a number of various reactions going on for the next 45 minutes: lots of shhhhing, yelling, a LOT of laughing, a bit of anxiety, a few people didn't talk once, and eventually some crying. When we found out we HAD to escape through the ceiling panel we all cheered.
It was actually the second time I got trapped in an elevator so I already knew about the "Emergency Phone".

This was by far the funniest thing that happened to me all weekend and the best story i came home with.
For those of you who were also there i was the idiot drunk kid in the purple shirt who made the motion to pop the ceiling panel open for some fresh cooler air...
And whoever farted... fuck you.
POST THE PICTURES!

I was in there. The first 15 minutes were fun, the rest were not.
