Saturday was easily the best day of my life

that warehouse show was the highlight of The Fest for me

Getting to THE VENUE early enough on Sunday to get in.
Being on stage with the Menzingers for Sir Yes Sir
Fidning out about Fake Problems and Toys that Kill.

WORST :
Dead to Me cancelling.
Crowd surfer smashing my glasses in half during the Menzingers.
Falling while walking to the Kickstand on Saturday (because my Glasses were broken and I didn't see the Cinder block)
Not being allowed into the Kickstand because they sold out of walkin tickets on Saturday so I missed BTMI .
The Fest tickets selling out before I could get mine.
Missing the Lawrence Arms/Andrew Jackson Jihad because I got there at 6 PM on Saturday.


A lot of worst.. but the best more htan made up for anything that went bad.

busted bike tire (though it led to good things)
PIB parking lot show over too soon
Friday night warehouse never happening
never met some people I wanted to meet
didn't hang out enough with some people I did meet
busting my knee and being really dizzy after PIB on Saturday
not getting any Flacos
missing Polar Bear Club
being too tired to fully enjoy The Ergs! and Leatherface
having to be at work at 7 AM on monday.


still an amazing weekend.

Best:
seeing Used Kids, Foundation Band, and Measure SA
watching d4 for the first time and seeing paddy being paddy. they were so good.
drinking tons of beer and meeting cool people. good talking to people from bands i know again.

Worst:
losing my wrist band. complications with the hotel. other than that it was completely awesome. best of times!

Best:
- Menzingers (the show was nothing but awesome)
- No trigger (at the warehouse)
- finally seeing ann beretta & none more black
- seeing a lot of great bands I never really heard of before
and of course meeting all the Fest boards, especially Dave, Phillip, Kenzie but also all the others - you made my weekend


Worst:
-Friday Warehouse show not happening (thx again giveblood for the ride)
-being to tired & for the saturday warehouse show

agreed man. tim version was definatly up there for me. and i see em like once a month. the rest of those bands ruled also. urtc killed it !
