Eitherhow, man oh man....acid. I never thought I'd do acid. A year ago I wouldn't have. I told myself I'd only go as far as shrooms, then i tried coke and yeah i've done that a few times, but i never got in touch with it. Its way too expensive, doesnt last long at all, and when you're doing it you just want more. Then I did acid. And I'll never do shrooms again (yes i will). I don't know that i've ever really seen a whole lot, on the beach i thought the lake was on both sides of me and i was walking through Lake Michigan on top of a sand road but thats about it. Having only taken one ticket on the bus at a time, and a handful of times now, i can only say for me ive always been the woke up too early, drank too fast, gonna pass out soon kinda guy, but with acid oh my god, its just you're whole way of being feels different. I go all night, i cant stop smiling, i just feel like im living in my moment all the time, like im on the ball and most things people say are really interesting. I have yet to do it in a casual setting though, i think the parties are what keeps me from going all weird, just keeps me partying.

ANYWAY...i used to be straight edge...well like 5 or 6 years ago. Doing drugs, its not about being afraid to act the way you do when you're on them, its that you really just cant. youre not going to come up with or feel the otherworldly shit drugs like acid make you feel. because for me at least its not about getting people to see me act weird, its about the inner trip going on, all the unsaid thoughts and feelings running through your mind when you're just walking around a party talking to people frying on acid. and yeah ive had to drive a car full of acid heads around; i can see how it would be annoying, but i thought it was hilarious

But yeah, I dunno, I couldn't imagine my mind working the way it does when I'm tripping or otherwise fucked up because it simply can't.

Acid goes either way with me, if I take just enough, 1 or 2, I'll have a great time and won't lose my mind and I can still talk and function. But too much, which is apparently 3 or 4, and it starts out good for the first few hours then all of a sudden time will just slow down to the point where I no longer have a sense of reality, and I just become a spectator to everything around me. My mind will be racing with so many thoughts that my mouth cannot keep up with them, so I just won't talk anymore at that point since nothing I say would sound coherent anyway. Then I'll just find a place to sit and explore parts of my mind that I didn't even know existed, then I'll just want to go to sleep, but I won't be able to for another 3 hours.

Idunno, it can be exhausting so I only do it maybe a couple times a year. Nothing has compared to the first time though, it sounds cliche to say but it did change the way I see things in a way and I learned a lot about myself. Haha, I had just watched 2001: A Space Odyssey a few days before it and part of my trip was me believing I was the starchild, I felt like I was the universe or something. I don't know how to explain it.

Ahahaha, it would have been REALLY hard for me to not laugh in their face. But at the same time maybe I'd be flattered that they though I still partied like HS/early college years.
