You can't bring any bags into Common Grounds whatsoever. That much I can say for sure.

last year i brought my backpack to all the shows i attended (venue, cg, atlantic, 1982) and i had no problems. the only time i had to put it on a pile of other backpacks was at the armalite show on sunday at cg. had no trouble retrieving it unharmed after the show.
i hope to do it likewise this year.

I still try to avoid having a bagpack on saturday, but there are like five friends begging me of bringing them a shirt of a band that never comes over here

I really hope this is the case. Carrying a plastic bag/ tote bag of t-shirts and records around all day would be a pain in the ass. I don't see a problem with backpacks, just take them off and put them by your feet as soon as you get in.

Yeah, I think backpacks should be allowed i mean shit if i'm seeing 10 bands or more a day i'm sure i'm going to end up with more than a couple of merch items. Plus I'm a Floridian and I get pretty cold easily 75high 55low is pretty chilly for me especially at night but there's no way in hell i'm going to wear a sweater inside a venue when it'll probably be nearly 90 or higher with all the people. it would be really convenient to just roll that shit up and put it in my back pack.

I would make a serious effort to NOT bring records to shows. Well, unless you want them cracked.
