The ONLY beer that I will drink before I am drunk enough so i cant taste the beer is an OE. OR i'll chug beer if i just want to get smashed.

i feel like we should've set up a time when a couple dozen of us could get together at the Fest, all bringing a couple 12 packs of our favorite beer, and then had a beer sharing. You know like, "hey, this is my favorite beer of all time, oh, you've never heard of it, here ya go"

yeah, I wish i'd taken a more pro-active role in this, but I can't even get into town until about 5pm on Friday, so that kind of cuts into the only time I can really see a beer swap fitting.
Still, I wanna meet people who like good beer, and I need to start sending some PMs to people asking for some different beers.

If I were driving, I would've jumped on this...but its going to be hard enough to get the few 6s of stuff I'm wrapping in towels in luggage on the flight already...

I'm really not much of a beer fan and my friends just keep telling me I haven't found the right one yet. Anybody want to introduce me to the "good stuff"?

They've got it on six packs a few stores, and I've seen signs for it in windows of some bars, but none of the Fest venues.
I've been to the Sweetwater brewery a couple of times, it's pretty cool. Their IPA is great when it's really fresh.
Last night at Gator Beverage I got some Bell's Special Double Cream Stout, Avery Ale To The Chief Presidential Pale Ale, and Oskar Blues Gordon.

Last night I got to see Philip in "talking about beer" mode, it was awesome. He and my friend Tara went to another plane of existence for a good while there. Intense. Beer brewery talk.
