I've been thinking and I think I'm just going to opt for trying to find lifts from NY down to Fest, and back up again. And then just hire a minivan for a day for Tampa fun. Should do the trick.

My brother and i will be arriving in tampa on thursday afternoon, and i was wondering if anyone could possibly take us to gainesville with them after pre Fest, and possibly back in time for the flight, which would be at 2:00 on monday..... please please please let me know. i'll love you forever. its Fest.

i should have space for 3 people in my car. maybe more if someone doesn't care about sitting in the back (trunk space of an SUV)

just booked my flight to Tampa, arriving thursday 10.30 pm ..I'm still making my plan but probably I take a rental car, stay the night at Gram's Hostel and so can offer some places friday morning (am-9am?) from there to Gainesville andf back on monday.. a contribution to the car/ petrol would be cool..

Is anyone leaving from Tampa that Friday evening/night? I think I can make it up to Tampa from Miami but I wouldn't get there until 7 or 8 PM
