i think it has to go in the checked luggage. honestly, i imagine it would be a hassle if you're flying...but i have done it before...just pack it up tight in the checked luggage.

Yes, you have to check it. Wrap it in clothes and towels, etc. They WILL inspect your suitcase, but they'll send it through.

My friend brings back suitcases of beer pretty much everywhere he visits. He's only had a bottle broken once, but he said it was still well worth it.

I'm a huge beer nerd, and I am dying for Festers to bring me beer that is unavailable here. I hadn't thought of New Glarus, but I have heard good things about them.

Andy, you should try the Bell's Java Stout, they've got it at Gator Beverage. Unless Wisconsin has some sort of weird death feud with Michigan. One of the best coffee stouts I've ever had, I'd probably rank it #2 for that style.
