Considering I'm changing most of my dollars todays, this is shitty.
I am running around like a headless fucking chicken today, pretty much haemorrhaging money buying shit I should've bought in the previous weeks but couldn't afford to do so.
2.24pm, 'to-do' list is about half done. Getting there! I just love to, Iiiii just love to check. shit. off.

Honestly if someone wants to just knock me out before we take off and wake me up when we land i'd be eternally grateful.
On a lighter note. What movies do you reckon we'll get on the plane? Not sure if it's too soon but I'd be well happy with Tropic Thunder and Burn After Reading.
Dude are you going to start freaking out when the wheels go up?!

Ha! Hopefully not.
I could be totally fine once i'm on it. It's all in my head, as long as i've got enough distractions i'll be ok I reckon.
Those distractions being booze, music, movies, you, Tim, hot stewardesses and sub standard airplane food.
The worst part is gonna be the jubilation of landing at Detroit coupled with the crushing disappointment of getting on another plane to get to Orlando.
It's all good.

For some reason me and guys I'm grabbing the same flight with haven't been allocated flight seats or anything. It's with KLM, also to Orlando via Detroit.
Will be able to just pick some seats once we've checked in or what?

Yeah some airlines usually only allow seating choices at check-in, either that or you're on stand-by, which isn't good, cause then you're just hoping for some no-shows so you can take their seats. Otherwise the airline will stick you on the next available flight at no additional charge. I'd call the airline and double-check if you want to be safe

You'll be fine. And I should take you skydiving while you're here, just to settle any of this silly fear.

Tue 8am is when i leave Edinburgh Airport for Orlando (via Newark) and only 2 more days of work
If i'm not too tired from the travelling/been pulled over by the police for (a) breaking the speed limit (b) driving on the wrong side of the road (c) driving like a tourist,
i should be at the pub

So much for beating the clock... not sure if I managed any sleep after I got in from work. Feels like I've been delirious for the past 6 hours. The next 6 hours are gonna be fun!
