Red House (Lawrence, KS...now called Black Lodge and in Eudora, KS) and I heard about it at CRC in Chicago. At Red House, it was for the William Burroghs tracks they did for Psalm 69 in 1991 maybe? I got to sit out in the alley and listen through the back wall. Did that a lot more than I probably should have. It's one way I sealed my fate in getting into recording. They even shot the video for...aw fuck...can't remember the song...there in Lawrence and KC. They had WHB shooting styrofoam blocks with words on them with his shotgun...out at the Outhouse (rip) the best all ages venue ever in the middle of a cornfield...now a BYOB tittybar. In fact WHB was a neighbor of mine growing up...the guy your parents said stay away from. Lawrence is a weird place/I miss it so.
