Moving to "Fest Rants" so more people see it and it doesn't get lost in "Misc".

Oh, thanks! Haha.
Yeah, I was looking for it like "I know NC sucks, but they didn't have to DELETE my thread!"
Sawtooth, Wilmington has its ups and downs. I just wish the art/music scene was a little bigger and more diverse, but then again, we're not a huge city. But, the artistic/intellectual people who are from Southeastern NC garner a great influence from so much of our backwards-ass shit! Kind of a love-hate relationship.

Haha, you're only going to get deleted if you post spam. We heart pre-Fest shows where ever they are.

I found a little town where they do the real thing, no tourist type shit. They actually exhume dead family members, clean the bones, ceremonies, leave food, etc. THAT is where I want to go.
Only thing is I barely speak Spanish, had I not always gone with my very fluent father who knows what would have happened to me. Mexico City was intense though, I bet the small towns are much safer.

Hmm. I guess I'll have to do some research and actually do it one year, as long as it doesn't interfere with the Fest that is.

Uh yeah, well the real Dia De Los Muertos is celebrated Nov1-2nd, so it often does conflict.
