Yeah, kinda weird. They are all on the "confirmed by the Fest" list here.

one of the most entertaining/fun live shows ever
also I wasn't really into The Methadones before last year but got hooked on them after seeing them, fucking awesome

Someone needs to compare the confirmed list here to that at the Fest website and make sure they didn't just accidently leave some bands completely off. What a nightmare that would be.

I asked about this in another thread, I did notice some bands from the original confirmed list/band list on the schedule days that are not listed on the official schedule.
These bands included as well as Nakatomi Plaza are not listed either. And I know for a fact those guys/gal are playing... one of the guys from Young Hearts told me the other night he was flying down with them for it.
What's going on?
Also, I think Get Bent is just not playing... last month I saw them and they apparently weren't even aware they were on the confirmed bands list for it.
But I REALLY hope Govn't Warning and the Methadones are still playing and just got left off... but that would suck if they'd have to rearrange everything over. Oof.

sjit. i forgot about them.. it's not just that they're on the confirmed thread, but some of them are on the poster. you'd think they'd not forget those ones. maybe it's all going to be re-arranged by the time we get the timetable at registration.. which will suck.

What about foundation, too, I mean the one that's not alt country?
I'd love to see these bands re-appear, but in way that doesn't interfere with my already almost-perfect schedule.
In semi-related news, it's interesting that The Venue is done at 10:00 on Saturday. Common Grounds also seems to be finishing up on the early side on Friday and Saturday, but I'm guessing that has to do with the new apartment building next door. But 10 on Saturday for The Venue? Seems too late for them to start something non-fest related. My stab in the dark is that NOFX is playing or some shit like that, but maybe some of those other bands are in there, too?
Apparently, now that I've finished my schedule, I will just obsess about shit like this for the next two weeks.

I think the reason that the venue is finished early , is that they mabye have something going on afterwrads? there seems to a hip hop party every saturday and seems like on Fest 6 they finsihed early tehre on saturday as well

I sure hope not or I can only imagine the conflicts of personalities/interests of Festers leaving the Venue and the people waiting in line to get into the Venue. It just can't be, that doesn't make any sense. Maybe this is when there is a night show at Holiday Inn or whatever special secret event/s are going on.
Speaking of, haven't heard one peep out of Wayard about after-Fest shows this year. I know Sportscenter is expecting to play.
