Do buses run down East Columbia Drive? We're staying further down just off it, about 3 miles so bus might help... what's Tampa's taxi service like?

my band (The Cost of Living) is playing the wednesday in Tampa but we can't really bring any instruments with us. I think Chillerton, also from the UK, are in the same position. so, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, and realising how cheeky we're being, would any bands playing Tampa be able to lend us some gear for our 20 minute set?! you would earn yourself many, many beers/whatever bought for you, plus our eternal gratitude and we promise to treat your gear with total respect, we promise we don't strum/hit that hard!!

any amazing dudes/dudettes who would be able to help us out, we would basically love y'all forever!

i'd look up Transitions Art Gallery, New Bruises, or New Anthem Records on myspace. or hope Jonny (from the Rest of Us) or Matt Welch catches this post. i think Transitions has some amps....maybe a drum kit...i'm not sure.

i'm hoping to have this finished and copied before i go to work tonight but here's a sneak peek at the poster for the basement house pre-fest show. it's on saturday afternoon in tampa before the 2nd transitions pre-fest show.

my friends and i need a ride from the transitions show on thursday to g-ville. we had one lined up, but circumstances fucked us.

i was actually hoping to get a ride after the prefest....but whatever. we just have no place to stay thursday night...though if you are offering, we could figure out somewhere to stay and hitch a ride the next day.
