I don't know if I accidentally approved them, or if myspace made a mistake, or what, but some band I have never heard of is on my friends list on Myspace, and they are so bad its funny.

PS - this is the kind of band that normally plays at Backstage Lounge.

I'm glad someone appreciates just how amazingly over the top bad this is.

Now don't confuse pure garbage with over the top Philip. Over the top are all the big hair glam metal bands that STILL exist! They send me requests on Myspace all the time. The love me because thy somehow know my past. There are guys out there that still dress in spandex and have huge hair sprayed hair AND look like that EVERY day. 
I will try to show you some examples. You need to see them.

OK, maybe "over the top" wasn't the phrase I was looking for... this DIG DOWN DEEP bands just seems so incredibly... unself-aware... like they epitomize everything people hate about bland, macho, self-deluded frat boy rock... like Nickelback, without the production... but even more grungey nu-metal.
The only thing I can think of that would sort of be on this level is a Fury Of Five music video. but these spandex throwbacks are pretty crazy, in a different way.
