For anyone that's into Joy Division and/or New Order there is an awesome tribute show going on Saturday:
Oct 4 2008
Joy Division/New Order Show: Averkiou, Mas Armas, Ars Phoenix, Invisible
@ the Atlantic
It will likely turn into a dance night, for me anyway

I had a soft practice for Fest today at this, and sorely lost. At 6 pm I had to take a drunk nap.

oh shit, I might have to drive up for that. Although the graphic novels at libraries are usually pretty beat up, but library sales are dirt cheap.
what records you score?

3 christmas records (for amusements purposes)
2001 Space Odyssey Soundtrack
John Mayall - USA Union
Jackson Browne - The Pretender
some bob seager and john melloncamp records
and like 1 or 2 other, most of them were 50cents
they constantly restock stuff to, I went back at one point and saw that this guy got a black sabbath live album
oh and my friend got a couple out of print sci-fi books and other space awesomeness

You should ALL be there, no excuses.
And House of Lightning is the new Dove band! I've only been waiting YEARS to see this. I may implode from my face melting from metal awesomeness, just saying.
And, Hot Graves are currently my favorite Gville metal band.
I will be ALL SMILES at this show.

i stopped by at that block party. the line for free beer was about a block long and some reggae band was butchering "killing me softly". so i headed down to a friend's place and watched the Tampa Devil Rays lose to the Sox.

Yeah, I went when there was no line (hence the drunk nap) and Rob McGregor was playing with Jason Hedges. So, that's what you get for a fashionably late appearance.
