Putting up a song and Fest slot

We'll probably put a song up on this stupid page sometime on Monday. The recording isn't finished, but we've got a couple of songs that are close enough for this bullshit. We'll be playing the Fest on Sunday, Nov. 2nd at the Atlantic at 6:40. Just go.

Looks like a good pile of bands to finish up the Fest with. Go check out their various myspace pages and see for yourself. You should go if only to check out the only UK band of the show, Former Cell Mates. Davey from Leatherface sings and plays guitar in this band and they are fucking awesome.

Oh, and start referring to the Fest as the 'Fest 7th Mortgage', The '7th Fest Investment Corp.' or maybe 'Fest 7 Equity Fund and Brokerage'. So if you see any reporters looking around, act like you're trading shares of something and drop words like, 'volatility', 'risk', 'derivatives' and 'the housing market'. Remember to laugh gleefully after talking about 'main-street suckers' and 'the poor'. Also remember to light cigarettes with $20 bills and talk about the fantastic 'corporate retreat' you just came back from in the Hamptons or Vegas and how you've never seen so much blow and hookers in one place. Let's see if we get the Fest some of the Federal Reserve's $700 billion bailout funds and the additional $250 billion in extras for the financial industry. I know that if we pull together and act like a bunch of out-of-control, stinking-rich, greed-driven sociopaths with no regard for anything but our own ever-growing wealth that we can pass for true, blue, Wall Street Americans. Oh, and dress nice. The American people don't seem to mind being robbed blind as long as you're doing it in a nice suit and talk about the greatness of the 'free market'.
