I've never done a text to more than one person at a time, and I just tested it out and... wow, my phone is old and slow. Sending a message to 6 people took nearly a minute.

I figured that Kelly has probably made more friends on this board than any other Brit, so I'll just make sure to get her number and be quietely confident that I'll be kept upto speed on anything going down..

Sounds awesome. Look for an Asian kid that's wearing American Eagle or Gap polos and cargo/khaki/board shorts. I'm using Metropieceofshit and I get zero service in Gainesville without roaming (and they have news rules where I have to buy a phone card) so that's gonna be a problem.

yeah, what are international text message rates like? foreign dudes should just like camp out at registration or Gator Beverage, or one venue or another, and shout "bloodY!" every time they recognize someone from the board.

When I went to Mexico texting was still somehow in my plan. So it may not cost anymore for texting at all for anyone.

As far as I know my Fest Photo Crew meeting is at 5pm on Friday, so before that at say 4-4:30pm in the check-in/Fest Flea Market area would be good. I will be in there anyway shooting check-ins, tattooing, band interviews, etc. Since I'm not positive of the layout of things this year I wouldn't know where exactly to say to meet though.

I won't post my phone number, but texting & calling would work.
