so i see they're playing gainesville that sunday night? on campus, right? will this be Fest related?

somehow I don't htink I have ever heard this bands. I get the impression that I might have liked them if I hadn't heard so much about them. But their longevity does speak well.

They played Fest V indie night and didn't let us record. Made me really mad, cause we were all about the 'DVD'. Only band in the history of Fest that said "we're not allowing recording on this tour"

Then they played and I was relieved. Totally a studio band. Their performance was lackluster at best. I'd rather they just put on their record and have GIRLS stand around in girl jeans looking depressed.

The show is sponsored by the university. I think it's free, but I'm not sure of location and/or if it is only open to students or not.

That's a bummer that they wouldn't let you record but making generalizations about the fans of their music is a little bit rude.

Although it isn't on their Myspace or Gville related websites. So is it really even happening?

there was a mention of it by someone involved with the Fest, regardless it may be free but there'll probably be better bands on during that time at a Fest venue, they really just stand there and play it's really kind of lame, I got their records and still will get them but they stood there and played at Fest 5 and then they cancelled their show in Providence due to illness... really lame

actually it was straight from the Fest website : Speaking of UF, I heard that they might be having Minus The Bear play from FREE on campus Sunday night of Fest 7. This is something they are planning so when they give us more details we will help them spread the word.
