when i saw their reunion show in gainesville last year, their set was heavy on A Flight and Crash/Caution-Era... with some of the good old favorites thrown in.
i wonder who else is playing this show, most of the HWM reunion shows have had some GREAT line ups

I am strongly considering this. I have friends in ATL, and I'm pretty sure I'll have some time off of work.
Atlanta also has a great beer scene.

The venue site says nothing about who they're playing with. I was super surprised that they were playing a New Year's Eve show in Atlanta of all places, I absolutely hate the Masquerade but it's definitely going to be a fun time. I only live a few hours away, but I might consider getting a hotel room with a bunch of people, or letting the entire gainesville population crash in my living room. Whatever works.

my friend Liz in Atlanta has a pretty awesome life. She works for Adult Swim, is involved in the Roller Derby, has a sweet house near Little 5, and she has a Welsh Corgi.
here is me visiting the doggie.

nah, I actually prefer high quality craft brews. Just that was my first time in Atlanta, and I wanted a 40oz, for the novelty.
the dog is awesome, her name is Shatner, and she was so tiny back then.

I'd like to go to this. I can't think of a better way to ring in the new year. We'll see how life is by then.

i would really like to go to Chicago on New Year's Eve for the HUM reunion show with the Life and Times. the show costs $60 but includes drinks at the bar but its the flight and hotel that are stopping me
so i think the Hot Water Music show in Atlanta might make a decent fallback, unless i'm helping my parents move which is also plausible.

Mark and I thought about it for half a second. We already saw them twice this year, so we're gonna find something else to do with our New years!
