so i'm having surgery the 31st of october now. found a tumor in my leg and it's getting radiated out, wondering if there is anyway i can sell my ticket to someone, give it to someone, or get a refund. i'm pretty sure on the site it says no, but there has got to be some way to get through with circumstances like these.

Oh wow, that sucks!! Good luck.

I think your best bet is to wait a week or two when the Fest sells out. My guess is during the last week there's going to be a ton of folks looking for tickets. I'm selling a pass too but not for nearly the reason you are.

i am absolutely positive that in a couple days when the Fest passes sell out, you'll be getting pages of emails from people trying to get your ticket

That means you can jack up the price! and help pay for some of the medical fee's, or at least buy you a couple of drinks so you can forget about missing the Fest.

I'd check with No Idea that it's actually possible to do this.
It may be the case that if it's your name on the ticket then only you can use it, failing that you may be able to get a refund.
Or just keep it for that 1 in 2000 chance that you win that amazing prize!

Hope your op goes well!

I'd highly suggest contacting the Fest with your situation:

I sent robx a private message.

It is possible to get a refund for reasonable circumstances like his. It is also easy (right now) to transfer the name on the ticket to someone else if you decide to sell it.

Any ticket questions of any kind should be sent to peej@noidearecords.com
If you have any concerns, now is the time to ask cause once I print the books you may be out of luck.
