speaking of that -- at Austin City Limits this year, they had a fabric/embroidered band that had a clasp where both ends came together and the rest of the fabric hung through it. Anyway, they didn't put them on very tight at all. (You could put them on yourself too) That really surprised me.
People were going to one day to see whatever bands they liked and reselling them on the streets (at a bargain price, though)
Dumb of ACL, I think.

ah, i recall seeing the beer out of the corner of my eye as i was giving my info to the guys.
i went ahead and went for broke doing stage manager at market st on sat. im gonna have a great time no matter what and i would rather put in the effort to make the Fest better honestly. i come to gainesville pretty regularly but dont really know a whole lot of people so im hoping after Fest weekend that will change.

to past volunteers: How easy is it to switch shifts with people? is that something that happens in the final volunteer meeting? or is it generally not encouraged?

Not encouraged due to confusion it creates. If you do find someone who wants to switch with you, email me at radio@noidearecords.com and let me know what's up. We also have a couple spots that are still open, if you want to ditch your old spot and take one of those. Email me if you want to try that. Word.

im going to be at market st on sat til 6:30, bummed i have to miss atom and his package and coalese...but i really wanted a stage manager position lol i didnt really notice all of the conflicts at the time i chose the shift but the schedule has changed since i saw it anyway.
