Yeah dude, me and Tim are in the same boat, were hanging around Orlando airport from 6pm till midnight waiting for the next shuttle to G.Ville.
It sucks.

I'm not sure if anyone still needs rides, but I'll be passing through Orlando maybe 8-10am Friday morning. Free rides (possibly 2-3 extra seats), or just pitch in for gas!

Will you be anywhere near the airport? I have a friend flying in from the UK at just before 6 and she was gonna hire a car as she wants to get to Gainesville for the prefest show at 1982 but if you could give her a lift I'm sure she would well appreciate it! If so let me know and I'll talk to her and put her in touch.

Yeah that's actually where I'll be the whole time, my flight gets in at 4, but I'm giving squid a ride as well and his flight gets in from London at 6:20 so I'm gonna wait til he gets in and give him a lift up. He and your friend may even be on the same flight, who knows. So yeah that's cool with me if your friend needs a ride. I'm trying to make that show at 1982 as well. I'll send a PM to work out the details

I'm not reading through the whole thread, but..

I'm flying into Orlando midafternoon-ish on the 28th, then driving straight up to Gainesville.

I'll have.. uh, 11 seats free currently, as I'm picking up a 12 seater passenger van from the airport on arrival. You can have a ride for a bit of gas money!

You still gonna be around at about 6-7pm? If so then me and at least one other person may be interested in that ride.
If not, no biggie.

What time do you actually arrive? I could try to reschedule to pick up the van later on, and I haven't booked my flight from Newark to Orlando yet..

Well my flight is due to get in at 5:53pm, we have both booked a shuttle but that isn't till 12:55 that evening/next morning, if we could get to G.Ville a bit sooner that would be awesome (and would save us a 7hr wait in Orlando). If you're up for it, i'll get in contact with Tim and see if he wants to, he may not, given we've already paid for a shuttle but I'll ask.
Anything that gets me to G.Ville quicker is alright in my book.

I'm waiting to hear back from Tim tho. Hopefully he'll be up for it. I know I'm crossin fingers and toes aswell, i'm all for an extra night in Gainesville!
