We are opening up the guidebook for submissions this year. Mainly interviews.
So we figured lets come up with 10 stock questions to ask bands playing. Here is how we are gonna do it! Respond to this thread with questions that you would like to ask the bands. The Fest 7 message board moderators will pick the best 10 questions and they will be sent to all the bands to answer. This could get really awesome or get really lame so my fellow Fest friends, don’t let us down on this one.

I'll try to take a cue previous years' guides:
How would we describe your sound?
a. Beer Fueled
b. Gravel Throated
c. Whiskey Soaked
d. All of the Above

Do you think there is still a place for the cowbell in modern day drumming?

I LOOOOOVE this question! I'm a huge supporter of the cowbell. Liquid Limbs plays one that is the kind used to call the cows in at the end of the day, rather than the one the cow wears:
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/gato-ranch/2139897621/" title="Tara with Chases' Cowbell after Liquid Limbs by Gato Ranch, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2366/2139897621_10fd9b6986_m.jpg" width="240" height="187" alt="Tara with Chases' Cowbell after Liquid Limbs" /></a>
It makes a "dink dink" noise instead of "donk donk"

Do you feel obligated to play older material to cater to The Fest crowd?

also good question, though I'm sure that applies to not just The Fest.

what are some of your Fest survival tips?
let's say someone is trying to get into your pants. What will they find once they finally succeed in their venture?

I'm also a big supporter of cowbell use but it does tend to bring strong opinions. I have friends that would rather die than allow their drummers to be let loose with a cowbell! Cowbell fans are strongly advised to check out Chillerton while at Fest for some nice yet not overdone cowbell action.
For those that can't wait, check out the track called Holden on the myspace for a nice subtle bit of cowbell.

Five Star or Leonardo's?
If you had to be in another Fest band who would it be and why?
What color underwear do you have on?
