Yeah, I was extremely disappointed too, considering I drove an hour. But I know people in the other bands so I was going either way. Even ended up at an after-party until like 4am with Amber from the board here. Sweetheart!

my friends in my gf's program at UF went to some conference in Athens, GA...they were there overnight, and went to a bar, which had a band playing...turns out it was zoroaster. i've never heard them, but about 5 of my friends we're all "oh hey sawtooth we saw this band that you'd love, they were really heavy and loud, and the dude was yelling".
hey man, just cause it's got a dude screaming doesn't mean i'm gonna like it.

for those interested that haven't seen it here is the line up at backstage lounge for Saturday at The Fest
Funks Inc, Valient Thor, Thunderlip, Blacksnake, Colossus, Ramming Speed, Zoroster
figured it fit into this conversation. also last I remembered backstage lounge is kind of far as fuck from everything else

Since when was Backstage one of the Fest venues??? That pretty much sucks. Makes it real hard to get over there fast from one show to the next.
Some of those bands aren't even on the confirmed list and/or of Fest quality (in my opinion). Wonder why Backstage is posting that info public on Gainesvillebands.com already? The spelled Zoroaster wrong too.

Who am I going to see at CGs for the Revival Tour on Wed?
Oct 1 2008 Revival Tour: Chuck Ragan, Ben Nichols, Tim Barry, Bob & Austin Lucas @ Common Grounds
And no crybaby stories about work or school. I'm going after driving into Gville, working all day, driving an hour home afterwards, and have to be on the Suwannee River at 10am on Thursday for work!

Again, as I previously mentioned: BUY YOUR TICKETS IN ADVANCE

I got my ticket online yesterday, I'm gonna be irresponsible and go even though I have arguably more important things to focus on.
at least I'm carpooling with another irresponsible friend. Alas, I could not convince my friend who loves Chuck more than anyone I have ever met to be quite that irresponsible.

Awesome so it looks like I'm finally going to meet Philip and Jeremy. May not be taking photos though I'll have my camera. Haven't decided. So just look for the blue cowboy boots over black jeans
