I'm travelling on my own from the UK. I'm on the 15.53 flight from Atlanta on the Thursday getting in at 17:05. I think this is going to be the official Fest plane - it was last year!!

this would more or less be my third year alone

I've met some real cool people and I hope to meet a lot more this year I plan on being a little more social this time around. I met a lot of people my first year but only like 5 people last year.. kinda a bummer.

but thanks to this board it looks like I will have a roommate for a couple of days!

I'm meeting a few people down there, but I am travelling down alone. But that is OK because I like airplane rides. Except Southwest doesn't have TV's "all up in the in the headrests" like jetBlue does, and I'm not bringing my laptop so I'll have nothing to watch or do on the flight. I'll probably have to read a book or something

oh noes! reading! say it ain't so.

JetBlue also had $1 beers last time I flew, just to rub in your misfortune of flying SW.

I know, I 'm gonna arrive at the Fest with a reading induced headache. jetBlue has damn good potato chips too. Southwest probably just serves stale lettuce or something

Grim. I've got a Southwest flight. No TV or Beer!!

Woah, wait a minute, Southwest doesn't have beer either? At all? How are they still even in business? What a boring airline

I took Virgin America on my last trip to California. They're pretty tech savvy, TV's in the headrests, games, movies, etc etc. The seats are comfy and you can order food & drinks thru the tv menu. I had 5 jack and cokes. I still thought jetBlue was better though. But VA is still pretty new (I think their first flights began this past spring), so in a year or so they'll probably have upped their game.

They also have super hot flight attendants. Jennifer, if you're reading this, I still love you. Thank you for the cookie.

Hey i'm probably coming alone (still trying to convince someone else from Toronto to come with me but everyone's brokeass or not able to get the time off work) but I know a bunch of ppl who will be playing/partying at the Fest... I still dont' have a spot to crash yet tho.

Does anyone staying at the Holiday Inn have a spot on their floor for me? I can obviously pitch some cash etc. I'm not a total weirdo - I'm the ex-bassist from BRUTAL KNIGHTS the chick in the skeleton costume on the PLEASURE IS ALL THINE album... I'm not in the band anymore but I do still love to PARTY and that's why I wanna stay in the heart of the good times!! please hit me up if you can help out! Look fwd to making a gazillion new friends at the Fest for brewdowns, brodowns, and chugg galleries!! xoxo

Daniella :-)
