So, the pool party Friday after check in was one of my highlights from last year. Who wants to do it again? Maybe this year it will be warmer and sunny.

shit was cold last year, i was one of the only dudes who got in (initially at least), kept hitting some dude in the face with a nerf football, i think he thought I didn't like him, but really i just can't throw

hoping i'll be able to crash this year since i won't be at the holiday inn

If I get drunk enough I'll probably wind up in there no matter how cold it is. Then I will drown because I will be drunk

Is that a viable option, I know it's *nudge nudge wink wink* against the rules in the evening but is it open to anyone for the pool party?

swimming when drunk is the most difficult thing on earth, the water feels really heavy all of a sudden like you need to push twice as hard to get through it haha

Yeah I just realized that I've never actually attempted to swim while drunk, so now I have to. If I appear to be drowning DO NOT try to save me, I'm just faking it so that Wendy Peppercorn will give me mouth to mouth

i grew up on an island, i can and have definitely swam drunk. Not that i would recommend it for everyone, but you couldn't drown me with a lead 12-pack.

If you drank a 12 pack of lead I think drowning would be the least of your worries. I'd still be impressed though

swimming drunk is actually probably one of the most fun things on earth. I go to a local lake and get hammered IN the lake (we take the cooler out to float with us). It for some reasons just seems like a natural combination to me.

And exactly why they sell these out where I live:

I don't remember the friday pool party being cold? I remember I gave a pbr to Jeff Rosenstock and he lost a swimming race, I remember everyone yelling and I remember it was highly illegal with all the underagers drinking, also my vision was terrible because I was wasted with the sun shining in my eyes

It's amazing what an English accent will get you in the US so I wouldn't worry! Apart from anything you have to have daytime access to the hotel on the Friday to get your Fest wristband so you're in anyway.

I may need to invest in one of those.
