any other workout success stories?!?!?!
Yesterday I walked to Fatty McFat-fat's Burger Emporioum for my Double-Bacon-Cheese-Blaster-Burger, but I couldn't walk back because the fat went right into my bloodstream and I suddenly lost the ability to move my legs.
That counts, right?
Seriously, though, my mom keeps offering me a gym membership, but I'm afraid it would be packed full of meatheads and alterna-meatheads like our buddy sawtooth, so I politely decline. And honestly, if I was working out all the time, when would I smoke pot?

any other workout success stories?!?!?! I might actually start riding my bike around the dirt roads out here soon. What are my other redneck white trash workout options?
YESSS! ride your bike...do like 5 mins warm up on the bike at a reasonable pace...then do high intensity interval training - don't worry it's easy:
do 20 seconds as hard as you can do, take a 10 second break and just coast, then do 20 seconds again, and 10 seconds off. do this a total of 8 times (20 seconds + 10 seconds), which will be 4 minutes. then take a 5 minute cool down.
keep in mind that when i say as hard as you can go, that you have to do it 8 times. so, do as hard as you can do - for 8 times.
This is a great way to get GREAT exercise in not a lot of time. I've been doing it, and it's awesome. google "tabata". that's what it's called.
also, you can't go wrong with body weight squats - youtube it for videos how to do it. the squat and the deadlift (real light weight) are 2 of the best fat burning lifts you can do...since you're a girl, you're not going to want to gain mass (im guessing lol), but get in better shape...sooooo these are going to be great lifts that will help you work out hard, without taking up too much of your time.
also, push ups, and pull ups. even like military press/over head press with something you have lying around.
good stuff, hit me if you have any questions or anything

lol @ alterna-meatheads. yeah i'm the punkest motherfucker up in the gym. anyway, i smoke pot, and work out. check this out...go to the gym after work, work out for an hour. go home, shower/poop, SPARK IT UP 420 brah, while you're high as fuck, cook yourself a big ass steak and some veggies, and there you go. eating healthy, working out, smokin' dat herb, G.
srsly, you'd be surprised at how hardcore friendly a gym can be. at my gym here in gville it's mostly hood black dudes, and i catch the owner playing death metal on the stereo sometimes. most meatheads don't give a fuck, they just want you to stay out of their way, and likewise for you.

I'm pretty sure that this gym would be dominated by yuppies and soccer moms, as it's nestled in the heart of suburbia, between a Best Buy and a Shoe Carnival.
But fine, 'tooth, you've talked me into it. Congratulations, you get a No-Prize. Off to the gym I go.

Awesome thanks! I'm looking to get my legs more tone, build up my endurance, and lose a bit of this belly.

I'm down for a workout. I'll be honest and I'll say I don't have a good routine. I haven't even touched a barbell yet

Instead of my bike ride yesterday I had a big bonfire. Ran around my yard with a wheelbarrow and filled it with wood and dumped it in the fire. This lasted for hours and was more of a workout than the ride would have been. So yeah, how's that for a country workout.

I bet, but not as much so for me. I use a chainsaw.

oh, i didn't know you used a chainsaw.
chainsaws are so bad-ass and awesome, that it negates the need for ever having to work out.

The only time I ever use it is after a big storm AKA hurricane comes through and big trees fall down. So yeah, still a lot of hauling huge pieces of wood to burn. So I guess there really is a big workout still. That and the fact that my chainsaw is so big it is a workout in itself.

I joined the gym about a month ago and have been lifting weights and playing basketball every other day. Seriously, working out on a regular basis makes you feel so fucking good. And the gym I belong to is kind of a family oriented place, so I haven't really run into any asshole meatheads yet. Mostly just people working out after work, soccer moms, and high school/college kids.
I'm totally in favor of a Fest workout session.. if there's time for one.
