i would say get a full car of people and drive. from what i've seen greyhound can be pretty damn expensive. and with a full car you can split costs which makes things easier. along with many a singalong on the way down. thats what i'm doing from mass/ct

When I drove from New Mexico to the Fest IV it was the best time of my life...I think so far the Fest iv was my favorite probably because of the good times i had before, during, and after. I would bet money you wouldnt have any fun on a greyhound haha!

I Greyhounded it by myself the first time I went, for IV. From the Port Authority in NYC to Gainesville, it takes just under 24 hours, and doesn't cost that much less than flying. I can give 'ya the whole story if 'ya want. You'll probably get there way faster and cheaper if you carpool with a bunch of people to split costs/don't stop as often as the bus, barring you can find people to do it with/don't mind potentially driving a lot.

I'm gonna be flying into NYC from New Zealand after like a million hour flight, and probably gonna be saying in NYC/Jersey for a few days before figuring out how to get to the Fest..

Ryan said he's gonna try find me some cheap flights but if it doesn't work out, consider one carpool buddy found! yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah?

I'm moving to NYC from NO in a couple weeks and will be scouring this board in the coming months wanting to give people money for a ride down.

Jet blue fly to orlando from NYC for $100. If everyone arrives at the same time as me, i'll rent a van or minibus and drive across. Last year we drove from grand rapids, 19 hours straight. Good times.

i'm coming from baltimore/towson. i don't have a car, so it's either flying or carpooling with people, if the latter presents itself as a valid option, of course!

Anyone got room for one more? I've taken the Hellhound from MA to Gainesville a few times and I hate it. I drove from CA to Gainesville a couple years ago and it was pretty fun, way better than a bus. It's always awesome to meet new people. Any takers?

this is way old, so you probably don't have room anymore. but is your car full? i figure i might as well ask. i live in boston and my car broke down so i don't have a way to get down there anymore. i think you only live less than 2 hours away so i'd be easy to meet up or something.
