I once got bought a bottle of real ale called 'Stud' from a small pub in the middle of nowhere by my ex-girlfriend.
Still unsure whether it was ironic or not.

why not just mix it yourself? much cheaper, and you can make it stronger. I use diet coke!
and as for Old Ruffian-
"Old Ruffian is a hefty, hop-forward Barley Wine. Seemingly mellow at first sniff, with its subtle fruit aromas and complex caramel sweetness, this deep mahogany-hued ale quickly shows its true character marked by bold hop flavors and massive hop bitterness. Old Ruffian’s rich, slightly creamy, caramel malt mouthfeel balances its grapefruit, pine, and floral hop flavors, working wonders on your palate. "
10.27% alcohol, printed right on the bottle. Only comes in 22 oz bottles, and keep in mind that US oz is bigger than a UK oz. So yeah, normally I drink one by myself, but at Fest, I'd suggest splitting a bottle.
ranks in the 98th percentile on www.ratebeer.com

I've had that, it's like a cross between Schlitz Malt Liquor and PBR.

i saw this a couple a weeks ago and theorized that 80% of its sales are probably because of the bottle ALONE

yup, they got me!
Where did you see it because it is bugging me that I can't remember the name of the beer/liquor store I was in. Wanted to tell Philip about it in case he didn't know. They had some microbrewery type stuff and imported beer.

ABC has some stuff that's not bad, but it varies widely by location. The one on SR 200 has the best beer selection in Ocala. SR 40 E has OK selection. SR 40 W has total crap.
I've had the Monty Python beer, and I did indeed first get it just because of the bottle, but it's actually good, and so are the other beers from that brewery. Nothing amazing, but they have that very pleasing, mild British water character, and smooth, subtle flavor.

Ok. Just bottled a batch of nut brown homebrew. Probably will have a stout to add to the pile before the Fest so I've decided to print up a bunch of Fest bottle labels. I'll order a few extra sheets in case anyone wants to stick them on their pabst
I'm 100% artistically retarded so if anyone wants to throw something together I'll send it to the guys at the below website. Here's the requirements:

I figured that had to be some place like that. Those rpices aren't bad, but I have some friends with a company that does merch for bands, I was thinking I might just geta quote on stickers form them, for when I finally have a recipe/ocassiona that is good enough to warran tlabels on my homebrew.
And SHIT I just realized, I can actually afford ingredients now, but there's no way I could have a batch ready in time for Fest. The fastest I've ever had a batch mature enough to drin kis 6 weeks, and I won't be able to brew until this weekend at the absolute earliest.
It is possible I could have some bottled in time, and I could send a few home with people, if they promise to not drink it until at least the middle of November.
