Just went to GA last month and gas in Macon was like .15 cheaper!

gas there is about the same as AZ!
I spent so far:
$55 ticket
$220 on a plane ticket, but I had a credit for not using my plane ticket last year and going out there with a band.
$720ish on a hotel for four nights (I still need a place for Wed night, maybe Tampa)
I'll spend about $250 on a rental car (stupid under 25 charge) because it is cheaper than taking the shuttle from JAX to GNV.
I have friends that will be pitching in for some of this shit! yay
projected spending:
Food - 100
Drink - 100
Merch - not much I don't wanna carry it back home

If you rent with Avis there is no under 25 charge. They're age limit is 21, I'm picking one up from Orlando for 4 days and the estimate is only $140 or something

How much is gas usually in Florida? I mean I know it's probably higher right now cause of the refineries being shut down and stuff but what would you say the average price is? I'm trying to get a breakdown of how much I'm gonna need to save up.
I am pretty bored at work right now, so everything from this point on is really just me doing a bunch of math to entertain myself to try to figure out exactly how much money I'm gonna probably spend and have left when I get home. So if you are also bored and decide to go ahead and continue reading, then that's cool with me.
I get 3 paychecks before Fest, and one more on the Friday that it starts 10/31 (direct deposit). I'm planning on allowing at least $500 of that paycheck for use as Fest spending money. I've got a $586 car insurance payment due 11/1, and right now I've got $595 in savings. This puts my current Fest money at $509 if I include the paycheck I'm gonna get on that Friday.
I'm gonna owe approx. $150 for the rental car, $90 for the Comfort Inn on Thursday, $50 a night for the room I'm splitting at the Holiday Inn for the rest of the weekend ($150 total), and I was thinking maybe $40 in gas total (one fill up driving to and from Orlando?). This comes out to around $460 max that I will have to have set aside as required cash that I will need.
So if I subtract that from the $509, I've currently got $49 for beer, food & merch money. I'm gonna put at least $250 from each of my next 3 paychecks into savings for use as Fest money, putting my estimated beer/food/merch money total at $800.
I'll probably wind up spending at least $300 on merch, which would allow for 20 items that are $15 a piece between vinyl/cds/shirts.
I don't know how much beer goes for down there, but I figure maybe $100 total on beer, $150 at the max between a case or two for the hotel room, and buying beers for myself and probably alot of strangers at the venues.
I'll probably just live off a few slices of pizza or something every day, so it shouldn't be more than $50 all together for food.
So all together it's probably around $500 of that $800 that I'll spend. That leaves me with $231 in my checking acount to come home to until the next payday on 11/14, and $300 in my savings.
Like I said this post was really just for me to entertain myself to alleviate some boredom, so I apologize if you've read this far.

I spent £400 (nearly 800 dollars) last year just at Fest i.e. not including travel, hotel etc.
I think most of it was on t-shirts and cd's as i came home with 15 shirts, around the same number of CD's and a couple of hoodies. I don't count the cost of PBR as it was so cheap it was ridiculous!!!

I guess if I want to hang out with you, I've got to go to Market Street. haha.
Once I was at a gas station - the one on the corner of 13th & Univ one winter and a homeless dude leveled with me and said I'm not going to lie - I want some money for beer because its fucking cold and I'm going to have to be drunk to make it through the night.
I HATE the cold, so I bought him a shitton of beer. He asked the right sucker.
