I will never tire of classic rock. I listened to it growing up. I'll listen to it until the day I die. Nothing wrong with it. That's why it is called classic

Or, kids seek out classic rock when they get bored of current mainstream rock because they think there's no such thing as good current music anymore. At least that's how it worked in my middle school. I was bored of current mainstream music and if I wasn't pointed in the direction of punk through a classmate, I may have ended up like them.
Those are funny descriptions though because I have a friend who basically falls into both those categories. I met her when she was in a punk rock phase but it was just a phase for her.
Not saying that all classic rock is bad... I fucking love Creedance and the Who.

oh yeah, there's a good handful of classic rock I really dig. The Who, CCR, Bob Dylan... but most of them are ones not played on the radio so much. Love, Stooges, VU, Strawberry Alarm Clock, MC5.
Dirt Rockers are the kids with spiked bracelets, really baggy jeans, and a wardrobe almost entirely of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, and Kurt Cobain shirts. Not even Nirvana shirts, just Kurt Cobain. Often their haircuts ALMOST look like that of a "scenester" but much more low key.

I saw them with the loved ones last time here...it was good, great in fact. I saw them at warped tour in VA (i had free tickets and I was scoring points with my gf's 'rents by getting her little sis in alright?!) but they were....well to put it lightly...bad. He sang with some vibrato voice the whole god damn time. My gf had gotten really into them so much it kind of ruined it for me it was that bad....but even she said she was really disappointed...hopefully that day was a fluke.
but yeah...DEFINITELY dont get them headlining over AMsteel...the greatest band ever.

This Charming Man and The Gaslight Anthem share only the singer/guitarist and the bassist.
And as for singing too hard, that's ALL American Steel does. I remember being sorely disappointed at The Fest 6 because the voice I had heard recorded before simply isn't his regular voice. There's one, maybe two, American Steel songs I listen to. The other ones just cause a panic while I find the fastest way to make them stop.

mackenzie..yeah, that guy wrote: jeremy wrote: mackenzie..yeah, that guy wrote: yeah * cough * no comment you know you still want to come up and hang out, I'll even buy you a drink since I actually can now Oh, I'll still come for American Steel and O'Pioneers. Two of my favorite bands for sure. I just don't get Gaslight. There's a few bands that you kids dig that I don't get. Andrew W.K. is a great example... i don't get it...or maybe I just can't stand listening long enough to get it. But then again, I like Archers Of Loaf, Helmet, Bad Religion, The Clash, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and a lot of other things you might not get (yet).
have you seen Andrew WK live?

Sorry Rene, you are going to NOT see me at a show for once
Sounds like there is a Gville and Tampa crew going though.

I am very sad I cannot see this.
too much homework piled up (my fault) not enough money yet.
But I MUST go see Chuck Ragan and Crime In Stereo coming up.

Philip, be sure to buy your ticket online RIGHT NOW for the Revival Tour. Pretty sure it will sell out. I got mine already because I'd be pretty upset if i missed it.
