I think I read about this on here before but I don't know where. But I've a had a couple so far and I thought I'd share them. I'll keep them short.
There was one dream I had last week where it was the Fest that day. But the thing was they hadn't released the schedule this year. So no one knew where or when the bands were playing. It was mass hysteria as everyone was running all over town trying to figure out where their favorite bands were.
The one I had last night involved Mr. Chuck Ragan. And we were all sitting on the side a river singing along. And then we all got up and formed a drunken parade around town with Chuck leading the pack Chuck even did a Defiance, Ohio cover. I can't remember the song though.
YOUR TURN!

I had a Fest Dream a couple weeks ago, don't remmeber what all happened nwo though. Some good stuff, some bad.
Lately I've been having weird dreams vaguely related to current life situations. It's weirdest when I'm half awake, and half asleep, and I start off trying to give serious thought to something, and then a few minutes later I realize my thoughts don't make sense. That's know I know I'm not actually awake anymore, because crossing from awake to asleep can sometimes be a blurry line.

You're almost as bad as those shits my grandmother would take in the bathroom that was 10 feet away from the kitchen table while I was eating my morning cereal. It sounded like someone tossing a bucket in there.

This is better than the Fest nightmare thread. I stopped reading it because it was just going to give me anxiety.
Only Fest related dream I had was that Floor was going to have a reunion show at Fest 7. I woke up briefly stoked then very bummed when I came to completely.

I'm not even kidding when I say that I had absolutely no idea what a 'fixed gear' bike was until that earlier thread popped up, I had to look it up.
Seems a bit wierd to me, I can't imagine what the advantage would be over a regular setup, surely your legs need to be moving at all times, even when your freewheeling?
But then again, what do I know?

I had a dream that I was riding a fixed-gear bike downtown during The Fest, and a crowd of emo kids jumped in front of me, and I couldn't stop in time, cuz, you know, it was a fixed-gear bike, and I kind of freaked out and pulled my feet off the pedals, and as plowed into the emo kids the pedals ripped off my ironic hipster-shoe-clad feet and left just bloody stumps hanging below my $300 ultra-tight jeans.
Then there was the snake in the vest with the donut....
Incidentally, there does appear to be some vague distinction between "track" and fixed-gear" bikes, as if calling it a "fixed-gear" somehow makes it more suitable for riding anywhere other than a closed, perfectly-shaped bike track without trucks and broken glass and other shit that can really fuck up your ride.
Seriously, Barack Obama did appear in one of my dreams recently, making him only the second politician to appear in my dreams. He was getting ready to give a speech or something, and he kind of came over to a group of us in some auditorium and shook our hands and made small talk. Then I started ranting about something and got kicked out of the auditorium.
I wonder how Barack Obama feels about fixed-gear bikes.

I've had several about accidentally missing the Fest. I've had one about the Fest schedule. I've had one about being tied up in a Gainesville carpark during Fest and being force fed banana skins. And one where Peej was my dentist, and i kept missing my appointments and so we both cried about it. Which isn't necessarily a Fest dream, but its definitely from going on the Fest board before bed.
