this is probably kinda late in the game, but fuck it.
Anybody who could use another band on a (ware)house show check out False Arrest at http://www.myspace.com/falsearresttheband.
its fast ass (s)toked out old school hardcore, and its even more gnarly when everybody's wasted.

One Win Choice is touring down to the Fest with Antillectual (Netherlands punkers), not sure which day we're both playing yet, but definitely interested in pre/during/post house shows.

Update:
I think we (two other parties than NU) have all the shows linedup for late night and one or two huge daytime things.
So, expect it to fucking rule almost any time there isn't an offical Fest show going on.
just wanted to tease you.

Awesome news.
I was just thinking about how most Fest house shows I've been to previously, seemed to be organized literally the day of or a day before at most.
Have house shows been pre-organized in the earlier Fests on here?

There have been attempts.
Failed attempts.

Well no wonder I've hardly been to any Fest house shows. You have to get lucky to get a flier or hear about it. Certainly no shortage of people at them though regardless.

Yeah, it should be rad. No SMS...Jana...I think you were right...that's bad news.
Word of mouth worked fine last year...too well in fact.
I just got tired of never hearing about these shows until it was too late to record them. I wanted to record them this year, so we're setting it all up in advance. Should work out well.

The Shortcuts from MPLS are looking for house/warehouse shows to play. We are all girl pop-punk - it's fun and kinda dancy - songs about boys and girls and hittin people with chains. Singing, yelling, and general tom foolery. For testimonials look to Party Marty, Tilt Wheel, Off With Their Heads, Cortez the Killer, Vena Cava, or Ninja Gun. We are looking for Friday or Sat - any time - any set length - anywhere. I'm happy to mail you a cd if you'd like - otherwise you can listen at www.myspace.com/theshortcutsband Any help is much appreciated.
xoxo
