For those of you who were there last year, wanna do it again at Fest 7?
For those of you who weren't there, wanna join/start a big skinnydipping pool party somewhere at Fest 7?

I don't want to sound like a boring cunt but isn't it the idea that the Paramount is a place for those that don't want to party and just want some quiet time? I stayed there pre-fest last year and it's lovely but not where I wanna be Fest weekend. We've got all of Gainesville, can't we let those that want peace and quiet have one hotel?
Party at the Comfort Inn, half of England are staying there and 99% of them will be up for going mental!

Its true Timmy!
There are so many pools in Gainesville - that probably ain't the one to do it at.
choose any apartment community pool and you'd be better off. There are some downtown too.

For some reason I thought this thread was about Skinny Puppy. I must say skinny dipping is a much better topic.

There was a very fat girl in a fiction writing class I once had, who had black hair and Invader Zim t-shirts, and she wrote stories about killing her high school classmates. There was also a boy who wore boots laced to his kneecaps, talked with a lisp, and wrote stories about killing his high school classmates. One day I overheard them talking about Skinny Puppy, and making plans to do something related to Skinny Puppy. I suspect they found true love.
That's my story about Skinny Puppy.

Honestly, I think No Idea just bases this on the amount of partying that goes down at the Holiday Inn. It's not like you can't get to sleep at all if you stay at that hotel, me and my roomies last year crashed early and it was fine.
I mean I'm sure this hotel is a lot quieter than the Holiday Inn but all I'm saying is everyone seems to think you can't have peace over there, and its entirely possible. Same way its entirely possible to have fun at the Fest if you don't drink.
That said, I'd be down to watch skinnydipping if it goes on at the Paramount though I won't be partaking. I'm not confident enough haha

Awww, young goth love...haha.
Back in say 1986 when most people were listening to WHAM, I was WAY into Skinny Puppy. They've been around since 1982 although most people in that genre didn't hear of them until 1990. And by then, I was over it.
I'm not ashamed of my "dark" past. I still have their stuff on vinyl, and listen to Ogre's solo stuff. There was once a big goth scene in Gville and an amazing 3 story club. Oddly enough, it was because of this club that I first got into the Gvile punk scene.
You guys would be pretty amused my my outfits/hair back then.

Pssht, I'd bet everyone on this board looked stupid when they were younger, if they don't still look stupid now.

Summer 2k7 was all about naked pool parties, and this past summer was extremely lacking... as in none. I need a fix.
