I'm sure I probably saw a ton of bands once upon a time that would make the jaw drop of anyone under about 22. So many of them blur together now, nothing worth bragging about immediately jumps to mind. dang, I'm start to consider people who legally drink to be "young." must be really weird for Mackenzie, considering he still looks like he's 21.
You know how old MacKenzie is?
He once told me he saw Green Day play in a barn. A BARN!

he's only got 5 years on me. So I could have too, if I just started going to shows at the same age that kids do these days.

I saw them when they were still an dirty, stinky and dready. Pics to prove it. Way before they were on mainstream radio. And at the time if you told me that was going to happen i would have NEVER believed it. The barn show sounds fantastic!

You should play the Fest. You're pretty old.

Ha! Good one.
Well, there will be plenty of watching me in action "photo ninja" moments again I'm sure. I made a lot of people laugh at Fest 6. I'll try not to make too many bands laugh while they're playing this year though.
But sadly, I'm not so musically inclined to do much more than that.

I was dumb college freshman, only went because I liked Minor Threat, and I'm not sure if I had ever actually heard Fugazi. I thought they were kind of interesting, but mostly boring. A few years later and they are now one of my favorite bands, and I'll never get the chance to see them understand what I'm seeing. Believe me ALL OF US have at least one band we'll regret never seeing! I've got MANY personally. but this is WORSE than not seeing a band. I DID see them, and I was too dumb back then to really care.
that happened to my friend, he said it was a show with none more black, hot water music, etc he straightened out and likes them now, but when he saw them he was there for like anti-flag or something and never really took it in... what a shame
