OK Pilot are flying into Tampa and coming back to Gainesville with us on the Wednesday night, so you wouldn't be alone in your half-ride hitchin'..

hopefully soon all the bands touring down to The Fest will post their schedules and stuff. only other one I know about besides the nofx/d4 tour is that Sakes Alive!! apparently has something set up but don't know bands/dates yet

I have friends in Louisville that I have been actually dying a little bit each day that I don't get to visit them, so it's a possibility (although not really that direct a route South, I don't think..)

hmmm...
on one hand: 1: cheaper than flying! 2: roadtrips are fun! 3: see other places, other shows etc? perhaps... but then again: 1: don't wanna spend time i could be spending in NY staring out of a window down I-95 and not actually seeing anything cool, and, related to that 2: some fun places aren't really 'on the way' incidentally, i do realise that as a non-driver, i have absolutely no say in this, haha.... if it comes down to it, i can afford the flights, but its always best to think of the alternatives!

Sadly I'm out of the picture completely as far as NYC is concerned as I just got London Orlando return for about £180! At that price I couldn't say no!
I'm still up for sharing the van from Gville to Tampa and back though! |
