there are many more i'd like to see if i have the time, but i've learned to keep my band watching ambitions small because i know MANY circumstances will get in the way. just enjoy the ride

yeah, there were more than a few bands I wish I could have seen last year, wound up seeing far fewer bands overall than I had actually expected to, but still had a total blast. I think I only averaged something like 6 bands a day. At least ones I was really paying attention to.

Yeah, I averaged about 8 bands a day last year. And the only way that happened was by leaving part way through one band's set and literally running to another venue and catching the last half of another band. I did this two nights for headliners. Tough. It also involved not much drinking/hanging out the first half of the day. Another way to see a lot of bands is to stay in the same venue. But that's just not going to work for most people. It would never work for me.

This list is subject to change obviously. Looking at it and bearing in mind what Gato said, i'm actually a bit gutted that I will for sure miss out on a ton of bands I want to see. Although that is rather a 'cup is half empty' attitude so i'll shut up and look forward to the ones I will see.
