while we're talking about flying being expensive, is $360 for a round trip NYC - gainesville - NYC the normal price? or does anyone think it will be cheaper nearer the time?

I've been watching the prices for a while. The lowest it went down to was around £130 (still kicking myself for not booking at that price), then it shot up to £220. It's been steady around £190 for a while now. I reckon it'll be one of the last things I book. Gonna take my chances.

It'll definately be more expensive the longer you wait. Are you flying into GNV? It's probably cheaper to fly into MCO (Orlando) or Tampa (TPA). I booked round trip from DC to MCO for $250

yeah its around £200 to go NY to g'ville and about £120 to fly into jacksonville or orlando, but i had a look at that runways shuttle bus and the times don't match up, plus it'll be a load of messing around and hassle, i reckon i'm prepared to pay more just to fly to g'ville and buy myself less hanging around at airport times
