Holy crap, I seriously don't get why you are driving from CT. Why not just fly or at least carpool to save on gas?

Depends on if I stay up in Gville the whole weekend, or if I commute.
between $20 and $80 on gas, depending on how much I drive and the rpice of gas.
$55 on tickets.
$12 on a CD that a UKer is bringing me.
I'll budget myself about $60 for food
$40 for beer (though I won't drink it all that weekend, bring some back to Ocala for later)
$50 maximum for merch (though last year I spent next to nothing)
I bet I can keep it all under $200, easily.

this will the be the first Fest that I am 21 at so my guess is like
$200 on drinks/food
$150 on records
$150 on merch
$0 on gas/hotel
I gotta stock up my fridge before Fest time, it pretty much stays empty most of the year

You can knock at the very least $50 a day on drinks off your total.
Leeroy owes you big time, and he likes buying drinks.

Gas in Gainesville itself, is some of the most expensive in the state its $3.70 - $3.90 right now.

It may not be bad compared to your state, but its smarter to get it outside the area on your way in.

Georgia gas used to be cheaper than FL, but not last couple of times I've been through there it was about the same. Jacksonville, or even Starke gas is probably cheaper than Gainesville, if you are going through those areas.

Cheapest gas station just outside Gville is the Newberry BP. I guess if you are already on that side of town it is worth the drive. It is usually where I get gas on the way into town since the gas out in the stix where I live is even more expensive than Gville. Gotta love the man oppressing the dumb country folk.
