There is, but I think we got a taxi to and from it. I don't think it was very near Fest action.

yeh it really does. The taxi wasn't too bad cost wise, you're better doing it by taxi than dying in a sweaty puddle walking!

My friends took the Greyhound from Chicago to Gainesville, it took like twenty-six hours, and they hated it. I took it on the way back, and I was still drunk enough to sleep for the majority of it, but it was a suck-ass ride.

that does not sound fun and I thought getting it from Tampa was bad. Although, it wasn't the bus that was bad more the crazy dude I was sat beside. He spent the whole journey talking to me abut being "respected" and not using women for sex and how he uses neither of his women just for sex. He then started telling me all about his son and asking me if I wanted to see the present in his sock that he got for him. I was a little freaked by this point and thought he may well pull a gun or a knife on me or something, but he pulled $5000 dollars out his sock and proceeded to wave it about, telling me all about how he drives trucks so his son can wave his cash about back home and impress the ladies. It was all rather odd.

If I go, I'm probably taking a Greyhound from Tampa (the station is right in downtown and my university is right there anyways). Anyone else taking Greyhound, I don't want to be alone with some crazy dudes...

I wouldn't worry, it'll be fine. I was on the same bus as Sarah, and while she was beside the crazy trucker, I was sat beside a nun, just about as tame as it gets, really.

Greyhound busses were not made for tall people
only rode the Greyhound once, but I managed to read almost half of "No Country For Old Men" on the ride form Ocala to Jacksonville, so it wasn't bad a trip.

As much as I loathe the experience, I might have to Hellhound it this year to make it for prefesting.

i took it from philly to gainseville. it was a very long ride alone, but it was pretty cool to meet and talk to a bunch of weirdos all over. I never felt scared or threatened anywhere. It did take 2 days to get back.
