Update from Rob today:

Thanks to everyone, I've been well taken care of. I've had beautiful friends help me go the bathroom, feed me, do physical therapy, care for my cat, care for my plants, do construction, handle my fluids, visit w/ me, and just be awesome in general. I couldn't have kept myself in good spirits without your help. Thank you from the bottom of my big red heart.

Rob got word from the Doc yesterday that he can't walk without help for another month or so.

He really appreciates everyone who has helped and lifted his spirits. He could still use all the help he can get!

Just a reminder that a benefit show for Rob is in Gville is tonight, see flier above.

Sadly, I myself can't go due to needing to save cash because of my recent job loss.

But the good news is that I've received $440 in donations to date! Rob should have received $410 of that today in cash via my personal messenger.

I'm not real big on hearsay, so I wanted to make sure before I said this:

It has been confirmed that over $1200 was raised for Rob at the last benefit!

Rob also just recorded Vaginasore Jr. So that's real good to fight the boredom and keep his spirits up.

We donated! If there are any future benefit shows, we'd be more than willing to play. We live right there in Tallahassee!

I suggested to MacKenzie that NU.org release the HWM Gainesville reunion show to those who donate for Rob. Like burning it onto some DVDs and sending out kinda deal. He said it was a great idea. I haven't heard or seen anything about it since. This is really a better reason then any you'll ever find to put it out. It's done and just sitting there.

Great idea! I don't think the permission has been granted to release it, so that is probably part of the holdup.

But I've seen it now and I realized how much I missed while being a drunkface at that show.

He's also recorded another band since then, so he's at least trying to keep busy.

He sends everyone who has helped HUGE hugs. I'm gonna check in with him before the storm gets going here tonight.
