I'm also arriving on the 28th but at around 5pm. I'm going to take the Greyhound or any of the other buses that are running I think. The last Greyhound doesn't run very late... 7ish I think?

Dude, I'm gettin in at 5.53pm on the 28th. There's a shuttle service but the last one is at 6pm and I don't know if thats cuttin it a bit too fine.
Apart from the Greyhound what other buses are there? I'm shittin myself that i'll be delayed somehow and wind up missing all the buses....
If there's anyone else comin in at this time let us know, if there were enough of us we could split a cab or summin if we needed to.

what plans do you have where your coming in that early?
I might be in Orlando at that time but it's usually something I never know until about a week before

I'm coming into Orlando on the 30th at around 1pm. Rental car for 4 days is $174 + gas. Then I'm leaving on the 3rd at 5pm. So if anyone needs a ride up or down and wants to throw a couple bucks my way to help alleviate the rental cost I'm down

Just planning to hang out in Gainesville for a fortnight. I can't afford to jet-set around to New York and Chicago etc, but 6 days last year wasn't enough time so im getting a week either side of Fest to explore/buy records/chill out.

What do you reckon is the best/quickest/cheapest way to get from Orlando airport to Gainesville at around 8 in the evening?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.
Edit* Apologies moderators, I think I might have put this in the wrong category. It does say 'bus/taxi' tho which i'm sure this involves. Anyway it's your call, i'm sure you'll move it if you feel the need.
Hey festers --
Leeroy still needs help with a ride from Orlando to Gville on the 28th:
Arrival (MCO): October 28, 5:53 PM EDT (evening)
There is only one Greyhound that runs at 9 pm, which would work out if he has no delays.
BUT, if anyone is flying into Orlando that day and wants to share costs on a rental or something, hit him up!

Whoa, we're definitely going to be on the same flight. I'm assuming you're on the NWA Flight from Detroit?

You wanna knock our heads together and see if we can sort out getting to Gainesville? How are you planning to get there at the mo?

I may come in on this flight too. I looked earlier and it seems there's a shuttle bus to G'ville that leaves at just gone midnight. I'll check again though and post info. I was uneasy about doing it this way on my own but if we could meet up then that could work out quite well.

Have a look at this site and see if I have read it right. It seems to me that there's a shuttle at just gone 7 which we'll be bloody lucky to clear passport control in time for but then there appears to be one just after midnight. It gets us into Gville at gone 2 in the morning but if we have accommodation booked in advance then that shouldn't be a problem. Have a look and tell me what you think.

Yeah dude, I think i've written off that shuttle at 7 because to get that would mean a perfect, delay free trip in every way which just aint gonna happen.
Checked out the runways site, looks like there's one at 00:55 on the morn of the 29th, that the one you were referring to? Looka alright tho, my only issue is that i'm staying with someone for the week and I'd have to get em up early in the morning and shit which i'd rather not do. But..if thats the only option to get there then it'll have to do.
You checked out the Greyhounds? I've been told there's one at 9 in the evening on the 28th, yet to check it out tho. I'll have a look.
Stoked there's some more people potentially on my flight.
Keep in touch.
