<  Fest Rants  ~  thinking about organizing

awesome! no better time than now (or tomorrow) to start getting in shape. i'm telling you, let's get a mid-fest workout going.


i did some mid-fest workouts last year. did some pullups on my hotel room doorframe and incline/decline pushups with my feet on the bed. i was just sort of bored between shows and decided to get some exercise.

but seriously it wasnt necessary. being on your feet from 10am till 5am and running between shows, pushing people off you in the pit, dancing, etc is enough workout.

after the avail set last year, my triceps were the sorest that i can remember, from pushing people in the pit.

you can work out when you get home, your time will be spent better drinking pabst than muscle milk

i can tell you're on the verge of saying 'hey sawtooth, yeah lets hit the gym for an hour or two on saturday'.

I'm gonna try and get fatter before Fest, just so I can stand outside the gym while Sawtooth works out and eat fried pizza with ice cream on top of it.

for work, i do sales here in gainesville. and by sales, i mean i sit in my air conditioned office listen to tunes, and surf the web. and make blogs.

thought i'd bump this thread back into rotation. my tendonitis is going away and i'm hitting the weights again....lightly though. for the last month i did mostly cardio stuff, and real, REAL light weights.

i did some pullups yesterday and that felt pretty good. my back is still killing me so i'll be laying off the deadlifts and heavy squats.

i'm looking at doing more bodyweight exercises: pull ups, squats, push ups, dips, etc...

oddly enough, for my time off i didn't lose much size. just tryin ta stay swole, ya know.
