Or indeed find it at the end of the night.
Get one of the inexplicable double decker bikes I saw going about last year.

Could do with coordinating plans at some point. I'm all for cutting costs.
What's traffic like down SW13th? I'd be up for hiring a bike if I could be sure that I won't kill myself. My last attempt at riding was pretty disastrous. That was on a girl's bike though.

Get involved with some Comfort Inn action. We've not actually booked there yet but I expect we will do soon. SW13th is a pretty serious road, but there's not much pedestrian traffic on the pavement, although I'm not sure what the rules are with bikes on pavements in Gainesville. But it's not even that far, it's like a 20 minute walk, half an hour if you're keeping it very leisurely, I wouldn't even bother with a bike.

Aye the walk is not bad at all. There is a bus that takes you up to uni as well and then it's only about 5-10 mins from there, if you can be bothered waiting for it, I think it was like a dollar or something. Cheap anyway.
We got a taxi back on at least one occasion, didn't we?I remember being drunk and it being very wet, but again didn't cost much at all.
Saying that, I saw quite a lot of cyclists on SW13th. The road is pretty wide and straight, so think you'll be alright traffic wise. Depends how much you cycle though as there is an uphill bit (can't remember how steep), which you may regret in the heat!

Yeah I think we did taxi once, but yeah, it cost next to nothing.

30 minutes walk is totally reasonable. I was under the impression that it was more of a trek. I think I'll wait and see what the deal is with Holiday Inn before deciding anything.
Wish I booked my NYC - GNV flights when they were around £130. They've shot up again to £210.

If you are staying in a hostel in NYC try Hotel 17. i stayed thee in a single room last year for around 45 pounds a night. I had my own room and had to share a bathroom. cleaner than any Hostel I've ever stayed in. place looks amazing too. very 1920's.
I'm all booked up for my chicago>Fest> nyc trip.
Just training my liver at the moment.

i keep shaving money off mine as i get broker by the day, but as it stands i have to still pay for:
Fest pass: £30.00
bus to heathrow and back: £42.00
shuttle - orlando to gainesville round trip: £35.00 (roughly)
spending money: (more than last year, put it that way)
not too shabby..

Do you have any details on this? I have no idea about where to go etc Basically people keep telling me that if I want to get the Greyhound I should not bother if I actually want to get to Gainesville alive.
