is there a way to make threads like:

Bands you'd like to see play Fest
Rumors
Confirmed
Hotels/places to stay
Fester introduction


permanently at the top so they don't have to be bumped back up to keep going. i think it'd reduce the amount of similar threads.

PJ is aware of this need and working on it.

He talked to me this past Friday night about organizing the threads here into sub-forums. So that there would be less threads in each one of a similar topic. He's been meaning to do it but as you can imagine, he's a REALLY busy guy. And out of town a lot of top of things.

I made some sub-forum suggestions when this first started up but he was out of town then. He asked me to email them to him, so I did. In the meantime I will continue to try to stop repeat threads by redirecting to similar ones.

You KNOW that if I had the OK or authorization to organize things around here anymore than that, I would.

Just give PJ a little more time.

Ha! You know, my OCD ass has been keeping track of all the spam threads/posts I've deleted and I'm up to 74 so far!

My favorite thread name was like something Hoff would post. Something like: "Blowjob Dog Can't Stop"...hehe

Like that's the dogs name!

PS - I WISH I could move move threads or better yet, posts to the appropriate threads. That would REALLY drive everyone nuts.

and i know PJ's busy. i'm not too tech-savvy but i thought someone like you or jeremy might know how to make those.

we can move threads, but the only place we can move them to is the Fest 6/5/4 forums haha. I'm just surprised you haven't started splitting up some threads yet although I guess that would just make for more clutter.

yeah it's not to complicated to make them, we can only edit posts or delete topics and stuff like that though. only pj is able to do all the fun fancy stuff

i think stickies work out of the box with phpbb- moderators can edit the first post of the thread and check the box that says 'make sticky' or something

the other board I post on uses stickies, they seem to work pretty well. Although with this thread I think you might need a lot of them.

maybe a separate sub-forum for topics that woould be stickied, and one for all the other random junk?

The really weird thing Jeremy is that I would probably enjoy it while everyone else would want to strangle you.

You know on Amelie how her Mom loved to dump out her purse, clean it and methodically reorganize it? And her Dad liked to dump out his tool box, clean it and methodically reorganize it? That's me. It is therapeutic to me is some very weird way.
