My friends and I have a message board we've used for years, I've all but given up on trying to keep it organized. I admire your tenacity.

It's seriously a second nature characteristic built into my brain over my lifetime. You should have seen how clean and organized my room was when I was little. It has only multiplied by 30 some years since.

you should start a business organizing other people's homes and offices.

Well, the way I organize isn't the way everyone organizes.

Like say if I cleaned up my bosses office he wouldn't be able to find anything. But he can find his stuff (sometimes) in his piles of crap all over his office.

The mind is funny like that.

I'm all for organization...but if it's such an important topic i really think they should be sticky'd. Not everyone is always on the boards and I know I wouldn't want to comb the boards and read everything just so i make sure i dont post in the wrong place. i dont know whats going on with this organization thing but stickys for the main things i think would work just fine...i mean it's just a msg board and it's going to be shut down in less than 3 months anyway.

Only things I can do are lock, unlock, delete and move threads. No sticky option. Unless maybe I go in and edit the original post? But everyone's opinion of what is important is different. So that's why the sub-forums happened.

I guess...though where are the sub-forums? I get on somewhat frequently and don't know what that's all about. So confusing. I still say it's just a msg board not an official archive of valuable information heh. Everyone always has opinions on what is important and I just don't see organizing a msg board being one of them. Haha. I'm totally giving you a hard time but it seems half of the threads just talk about how off topic they are instead of just letting the person start a new, fresh discussion about it. Meh whatever...more and more people are discovering and taking part in these msg boards, every year is just going to get more unorganized unless we have a moderator who approves every post like approving a comment on myspace...but who the hell wants someone restricting what they say on a msg board? DOWN WITH HOPE, UP WITH DOPE! haha

but seriously. I guess I just dont get on enough to care....and there's really not more than 15 people on here who have more posts than I do. Josh aka Gully has the most posts surprise surprise! I'm gonna bake him cookies when he comes and sleeps in my yard.

That's because all my friends live in Florida haha
