yeah realistically i think i can leave the morning after, speed for 16 hours and get back home after Fest 7 to do my American duty. It'll feel like a good end to things; only then will the journey be complete.

Seriously, we should all roll back into Illinois together, sleep for a day, then vote en masse without showering or changing our clothes. Now that's punxorz.

I've said it before... I don't entirely trust absentee ballots, because they only even count them if the race is close enough that it will make a difference. Still, better than nothing.
But y'all better request them soon, not sure when the cut off date is for most states. here's are guides for each state http://www.longdistancevoter.org/ some states won't even let you use an absentee ballot unless you provide a "valid" reason why you need one.
