unless your parents were vegan and raised you that way you've all eaten meat once, so yeah there's no need to make fun either way I'm not vegan or vegetarian, I'm just sayin'

been vegetarian for around 7 years, became vegan around 18 months ago but it only lasted around a year, maybe a bit more. i still feel guilty about eating dairy but i'm far too lazy and untalented a chef to make vegan food that wasn't a chore to eat. lame excuse but there you go. being vegetarian is easy. i'm not saying that to convince anyone else, god knows that doesn't work even if i wanted to, but i'm saying, if i can be vegetarian, absolutely anyone can.
i think it's something that's sadly disappearing from punk, especially in the uk, but there's nothing anyone can do, really. i would have thought vegetarianism is like a minimum effort thing, it's the least anyone can do. but then i'm a hypocrite for eating dairy, so.... *shrug*

Wha? nobody is making fun of anyone here. The general consensus here is eat what you want, just don't push your ideals on me and act like you are better than me. And nobody here is doing that.

reminds me of a quote from Big Bang Theory
"I'm a vegetarian. Well, except for fish, and the occasional steak. I love steak!"

Spare the other festers the dramatics. You still have the anonymity of the internet on your side. You could still make some friends to take advantage of.

Sorry, I often don't get what you're saying and think you misread the comment you are replying to.

I saw what you said I was just making a statement I never said anyone was making fun of anyone, I was just giving them something to back up an arguement? man I can't say things here anymore or tell true stories?

lol If by popular you mean has nothing better to do than post on an internet message board? Then yes, I'm fucking Jesus Aaron Presley. I'm so owning you in posts btw Jeremy. Less editing, more typing.
Now back to the veggies and all that nonsense...

Vegetarian/vegan discussions always turn into an argument, I don't see what the big deal is over someone's personal choice for a diet.

I actually sorted the forum userlist by post count the other day, I got a good laugh out of it. if forum posts were a marking of awesomeness then you and me are the Fonzy's of this Happy Day's Fest forum. although Jana is making a push for it with all her 'helping people' and 'linking to forums where questions have already been answered' crap

if you ever want to miss a D4 set at Fest, find Josh. although in his defense i probably wasn't in the best frame of mind to find anything outside of the Fest area.
