at first i thought it was fucked that the US was out numbered by british already in this poll, not that i don't love the british. Then i realized that it's too early in the morning for all the 'mericans to be up, and you brits had the advantage of an earlier morning.

i would bloody love to see gainesville taken over by british people for the Fest, the amount that goes over seems to get more and more every year

Thats because the U.K sucks and has no scene beyond touring american bands coming through town, obviously..

It's great that there's a decent collection of us lot over there, what with all the friend-making and stuff. however, it does take some of the novelty out of having a 'funny accent' when half the people at the bar talk like you. Give it a few years, and it'll be the punk rock equivilent of sitting on a Spanish beach eating roast dinner watching football on a big screen T.V, haha..

yeah I met a ton of English folks last year. I just wish I could remember some of their names. I remember 1 guy in particular that kept correcting me every time I,d call him English. "I'm not English, I'm from Wales". Anyways its good to see people from all over the world converge on a small town in the swamp. All for the love of music.

seems like there oughta be a poll with the major regions of the US-

• Florida
• The Southeast
• The Northeast
• The Midwest
• Out West

if i had to guess I would say about 50% of The Fest is people from Florida/New York/Virginia
