I love both hardcore and indie rock, but I don't like Terror or Bloc Party. Or the million bands that rip off those two.

Terror is awesome, I agree.

yeah man, new record smokes.

My brother only likes about 6 bands. And his two favorite are AM! and Sublime. I went on a road trip with him to my grandpa's wedding a few months ago, and we listened to ALL of AM!'s proper albums on the way down. A little overdose there.

People have mentioned The Ergs! to me and I can't help compare them to Riverdales and Teen Idols?!

I like that every romance language one by the Ergs. Never been into NOFX or Blink182 at any point in my life. A lot of people I know seem to rave on about Beirut, but I don't see the point. Surely if you wanna listen to balkan music then listen to balkan music not a whining fanny. Umm yeah thats my contribution for now :)

I'm not even sure what the last half of that means, but I like you Kelly.

For a while, every time I went to hang out at our shared practice space/drinking hole, my friends would be listening to Sublime. I didn't mind at first, because I was smoking a titanic amount of reefer, but eventually, no matter how stoned you are, Sublime gets fucking boring.

most of my friends at school are really into MGMT.
I like a couple of their songs, but cannot really see what's so great about them.

Sublime, Avenged Sevenfold, Atreyu, Red Hot Chili Peppers, A Day to Remember...actually on that thought, any band who breaks down every 30 seconds in their songs. I was at a show last night where 4/5 of the bands were "Hardcore" (the popular kind thats on the Warped Tour these days) and they all broke down resulting in these highschool kids to kung fu dance and nobody moshed anymore, it was sad. They were all to scared to get rough and tough with each other in a moshpit so they had a circle where one of two would go in, kung fu about and not touch a soul, and when you went in and pushed for a mosh they get pissed.

Not a fan of At The Drive In, Pink Floyd, The Mars Volta....to go along with the Pink Floyd, I'm not a huge fan of any of the classical rock type genre...I'm quite picky with music and my friends seem to be able to pick out alot of the mainstream bands that I hate.

Edit: ACDC...they grind my gears...and Godsmack, kiss my dick!

Haha quite a few people I know, and I have no idea why. I think it makes them feel arty or clever. But yeah, its rubbish isnt it. Get what I mean about the whining fanny bit? Hahaha. His voice, arghhh. Hes like 22 or something and he sings like a dying old man.
