Why are people always so surprised when they go see the Bad Brains suck? Word has been out about that for YEARS.

Ever since they first reunited as the Soul Brains, I have heard nothing but mediocre-to-terrible reviews of their live show.

I saw a really good Soul Brains show in 2000. The "dressing room" of the club they were playing was about the size of a closet and when they walked out to go on stage huge billows of pot smoke rolled out of the room. Really funny, like a Cheech and Chong movie or sumpin.

well at Fest he msut have been too stoned to feel our hate. he stood there in a winter jacket in THE SAME PLACE THE WHOLE TIME. just stood there. spoke the words into the mic. then the song would be over he'd smile, throw out some peace symbols, ask us "Are you ready for more music?" then begin again.
but GOD DAMNIT does T.S.O.L. still rule. Even more. I would love to see them.

Are you seriously doing this? I currently plan to do the same but I'm not sure what to do between Riot Fest and Fest. I'm coming from England rather than Italy though but either way it's too far to go home again in between!

I'm an ALL fanatic and bought pre-sale tickets back in April when ALL was the only band that had been announced.
I was stoked when I received an email yesterday stating the rest of the line-up for the Sunday show.
I feel like I bought an ALL ticket and now will be treated to bonus sets by
The Bosstones
The ERGS
Municipal Waste
Methadones
Teenage Bottlerocket
Big Drill Car
Scouts Honor
TSOL
etc. etc.
not bad.

Hey
You dudes from fucking Italy and England..what the hell? That's a long way for some shows.
This is the drummer for Scouts Honor. I'm sure I could put one or some of you up for at least some of the time between Riot and the Fest.
We're playing both, so it's not like it would even be inconvenient.
That is all.

yes, this is what I would like to do since coming home again after riot Fest would cost me 800 € more so I think it's better to travel around between the two Fest... of course I'm looking for bands that are touring to the Fest so I won't get lost iin the US ahahah

That would be awesome...thanks! Where do you live? Your band is Chicago based right? I'll email you a little nearer the time when I have a better idea of what's going on.

Well there's a few of us from the UK that plan to meet up in NYC for a bit at some point before Fest. I think Young Livers are doing a show and hopefully they'll be a whole bunch of other stuff like last year so if you want to join us then feel free.

thank you! everything sounds amazing! but since i'm doing young livers in my city and I'll be also at Riot Fest in Chicago, I don't think I'm going to travel from chicago to NYC and then the Fest... actually I don't know, October is still far, moreover I have to organise everything! let's get in touch till the Fest so we can manage to go to other shows

My buddy just told me the Riot Fest lineup, in no particular order, features Leftover Crack, TSOL, Municipal Waste, Reagan Youth, Teenage Bottlerocket, DOA, and more.
Damn you Riot Fest, damn you to hell! You dirty sons of bitches, you've gotten me again. They've probably got that kid from the Mac commercials singing in Reagan Youth now, if they replaced Darby Crash with that fuck from the Mandy Moore movie.
